Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 36 runs in the first one dayer of the 5-match series and took a 1-0 lead in the series. Shane Watson, who came into the team in place of Philip Hughes, made a fluent half century and looked completely at ease ending the day at 62*. His knock included 10 boundaries.
