The Board of Control for Cricket in India, following an emergency meeting of the Indian Premier League’s Governing Council on Sunday, terminated the contracts of Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab due to allegations of irregularities in ownership structure. As a result of this, the two teams will be barred from participating in the IPL 4 next year.
