Dhoni held on to his numero uno status with 828 rating points while left-handed Yuvraj, who had managed his career-best ranking last month, had 784 points in his kitty.
The Indian duo is followed by Australia’s Mike Hussey (767), West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul (759) and his skipper Chris Gayle (756) in the list.
Virender Sehwag (seventh), Sachin Tendulkar (14th) and Gautam Gambhir (17th) are the other Indians in the list, all of them holding on their respective positions.
Meanwhile, South Africa remained on top of ODI Championships table, followed by India and Australia at second and third.
Indians though, continued their struggle to find a place in the top 10 bowlers with Zaheer Khan (16th) being the only Indian in the top 20 of the bowlers’ rankings which is topped by Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara.
Australia vice-captain Michael Clarke moved up to second place in the Test rankings after hitting 93 in the fourth Ashes Test at Headingley.
Clarke, Australia’s highest run-getter in the ongoing Ashes series with 445 runs, recorded his career-best ranking after the tourists beat England by an innings and 80 runs on Sunday to level the five-Test series 1-1.
Clarke replaced India’s Gautam Gambhir in second place behind Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara. South African fast bowler Dale Steyn retained the top spot among Test bowlers.
