Dubai: The ICC has announced the schedule for the warm-up matches to be played as preparations for the Champions Trophy beginning on September 22 in South Africa.

The matches will be played on September 18 and September 20 in Potchefstroom, Benoni and Pretoria. Potchefstroom and Benoni will be hosting day-night fixtures.

The Indian team will be playing their only warm-up match against New Zealand on September 20 at Potchefstroom. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies will be playing two warm-up games while India and South Africa will play just one. The Champions Trophy will be staged at The Wanderers and Centurion from September 22 to October 5. India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will hold his arrival press conferences on September 19.
