Colombo: Sri Lanka’s opening batsman Upul Tharanga will face an inquiry by the International Cricket Council after he tested positive for a banned substance at 2011 World Cup.
Tharanga, who has reportedly been afflicted with asthma, was tested positive for prednisolone, a drug that is used to treat asthma, the report said.
