It’s very easy to write off Zimbabwe’s victory as an upset. They were supposedly the weaker team coming into the series and India, even without their senior players, were a team that everyone expected to sail through to the finals. But to be very honest, this wasn’t an upset at all. Zimbabwe was clearly the better team, which was very evident in the way they chased down a difficult target of 286 without breaking a sweat, and India looked like the clear minnows.
